This article explains how to configure the SharePoint Source module.
Connection Settings
The Connection Settings define access to SharePoint.
Required Parameters
- Authorized Client
- Hostname
- Site Name
- List Name
Parameter Details
Hostname
The SharePoint domain (e.g., company.sharepoint.com)
Site Name
The display name of the SharePoint site
List Name
The document library
Validation
- Use Test Connection to verify access
- Use Save to store configuration
Source Settings
The Source Settings define what content is collected.
Folder Tree

- Used to browse SharePoint
- Select the root folder for collection
- The module traverses all subfolders recursively
Folder Path
- Defines the selected SharePoint folder path
Excluded Extensions
- Comma-separated list (e.g.,
dwg, pdf, tmp) - Matching files are excluded
Include All Versions
- Enabled: All file versions are collected
- Disabled: Only latest version is collected
Use Checksum Filter
- Skips unchanged files and versions
- Improves performance for recurring runs
Clear Checksum History
- Removes stored checksum data
- Forces full reprocessing
Manual Execution
Create Transaction
- Starts the source collection manually
Save Changes
- Stores configuration settings
