API clients are used to connect to other data sources, collect data from e.g. database or web services.
As default the following clients are supported:
Database Clients
All database clients require a connection string.

Connector Clients
Every connector has a unique client used to configure the authentication towards the relevant system.
When installing a connector the corresponding client will be added to the list of client types:
The authentication method differs for each connector and the information and in many cases, the information must be provided by the customer and/or ERP supplier.
